Kibo is the main flat-topped summit of Kilimanjaro, the highest point is known as Uhuru Peak. This maps shows the main routes on Kibo. It is a small section
of the 1:75,000 map. The map guide also contains a 1:30,000 detailed Kibo map. The map guide also has 1:20,000 detailed map of Mawenzi, the jagged lower summit of Kilimanjaro. Note that paths are shown as broken lines, dotted lines
indicate a possible, and generally marked, route - but no actual path. Since
the map was made the Lava Tower hut was damaged by a rock fall and is not
useable.
